Aya Neo, the powerful portable console that wants to dethrone the Nintendo Switch
A portable console as powerful as a PC? This is the promise of Aya Neo, and a dream for many gamers.
The Aya Neo looks a bit like a Nintendo Switch, but in reality, this portable console, first presented by start-up Aya in November 2020, packs in features worthy of a PC. A dream for many gamers.
Outside, the Aya Neo has a 1,280 x 800-pixel touchscreen and two integrated joysticks with joysticks and directional pad. But the best part is what's inside: Ryzen 5 4500U processor with six cores, Radeon Vega 6 graphics card and 16 GB of RAM. The designers of this small machine advertise 512 GB of storage and promise a battery of five to six hours of use with a fast 65 W charge.
Aya launched its crowdfunding just a few days ago and already, the enthusiasm of the players exceeds all the expectations of the firm. In fact, more than 1,900 have already invested in the project, for a cumulative amount of more than 2.3 million usd. This represents no less than 3,183% of what Aya expected for this project.
